NEW Arctic Monkeys single - R U Mine?

I couldn't help posting about this masterpiece.

I heard it a few hours ago and I just can't stop going back to it. It's not featured on their latest album 'Suck It And See', but it will be released as a single on the 2nd of March.
I think this song is more on a rock and roll, upbeat route. I like the waving guitar riffs and the drumming is flawless as always.

My favourite part has to be the "And I go crazy cause here isn’t where I wanna be, and satisfaction feels like a distant memory".

Alex Turner is by far one of the most talented songwriters of this generation. I can't believe that he is only 26. His ability to put together the lyrics that he writes seems so natural and unforced. The lyrics just flow naturally and his voice helps maintain that flow. Just listen to Piledriver Waltz.

I love the Arctic Monkeys.  I don't care what people say, I really think they're really evolving as musicians and their musical abilities are growing.
This is a great tune and the video is pretty cool too. I'm loving the air guitar and drumming in the video. Alex just has this ability to look effortlessly cool and look like he doesn't give a shit without even trying (regardless of his hairstyle).

Arctic Monkeys
Argh, I NEED to see them LIVE this year!

Listening to MIKA when home alone.

So I was home alone today. I don't know what got into me but I got up and started dancing to MIKA songs in my underwear!

I suggest you try it. Honestly, it makes you forget everything and no-one can see you prancing about like an idiot. This song inspired me to do that actually:

I can't wait for his new album. It's supposed to be out this year and it's titled "The Origin of Love".
If you haven't heard his music (I doubt you've never listened to Grace Kelly), then I strongly recommend it if you're feeling a bit shit and under the weather.
Pop isn't music that I normally listen to but this guy definitely creates something artistic and original. His voice reminds me of Freddie Mercury a bit and I love that he is so open and honest about his feelings. His accent when he is speaking English is amazing too - a mixture of American and British and a bit of French. Not to mention he can actually speak English, Spanish, French fluently AND studied Mandarin for about 9 years.

He's very good-looking too:

Sorry, I have a thing for tall, slim men with great hair.

Anyway, my point was, that if you feel like crap, turn on some MIKA songs and dance in your underwear. It's bound to make you feel better.

The Gorgeous George Lamb

Okay, so I like watching good, quality television (who doesn't?). However, one thing I cannot stand is game shows. I think there are far too many on TV and I cannot really tell the difference between them. They always seem to be about a group of people answering random questions or doing ridiculous things for money.
But there is one game show I have started watching. The Bank Job.
The reason: George Lamb.

I saw him on TV a few weeks ago and I was fascinated by his hair. It has grey streaks in it and somehow he makes it look so effortlessly cool. His hair isn’t dyed, it’s actually naturally grey. So, he’s all naturally gorgeous. I know it might be a turn-off for most people, but the guy can most definitely pull it off quite elegantly too.
He’s tall as well. Around 6’5″. Can you just imagine him scooping you into a great big bear hug? *Sigh* Look at that smile too. How can you resist?
He’s also done some modelling and created a fashion line with a friend. I love his style – it’s very elegant but quirky and well put together. The man knows how to dress ladies!
Apparently, he’s lovely in real life too. Well, that’s what the lucky people who have been fortunate to meet him say. I don’t know if he’s single or not. Not that it makes a difference anyway, he dated a Lara Croft model and thinks Angelina Jolie is the“most beautiful woman in the world”. Nothing to do for me there then.
He did say he likes brunettes though (I have a chance!). I am almost half his age which may prove to be a bit of a hindrance, but a girl can dream, right?
I think he should just present everything. Regardless of any sort of presenting skills. I need him on my TV! I mean, look at him! (Yes, very shallow of me, I know). It’s bound to increase the viewing figures among the female (and sometimes male) population.
Besides, it keeps me occupied! I’ve just written a whole post about him!
